Warehouse Shipping Specialist Job Duties:

This is a great opportunity for a someone that loves to be active and around others that enjoy being at work in a very liberal, team oriented, non-smoking environment with a 7am to 3pm M-F warehouse schedule.

Warehouse employees are to arrive and be present to begin work on time and to be attired as appropriate for an air conditioned and heated warehouse environment.

All candidates must speak, read and write English, be licensed to drive a truck, have a forklift certification and clean legal record.

Primary activities include but are not limited to:

Candidate must have extensive experience shipping domestically and internationally and be able to comfortably perform all shipping functions, administratively and physically.

Candidates may also rotate through other departments in the warehouse and would be responsible for bring incoming materials into the facility in a safe and orderly manner, by hand truck, pallet jack or forklift.

When instructed: Perform receiving function of accurately counting all materials delivered on a shipment and notation of any and all variances on the Bill of landing.

When instructed: Perform QC function as detailed in company procedures.

Perform “Put Away” of QC and received stock in a prompt, orderly and manner as documented in the company’s procedures.

Perform “Kitting of Products” by adhering to the prescribed methods of Picking and Packaging.

Kitting should be accomplished in compliance with established company “Time standards for output”.

Receive “Pick Ticket”, take action to use prescribed picking procedures, promptly assemble all items onto cart, request team member to double check the pick, consolidate order into bundles or master cartons, weigh, mark and prepare shipment.

Complete all assignments in a timely manner and informs superiors when appropriate time frames cannot be met.

Assist other members with heavy task or moving large loads.

Be observant in the work environment for safety concerns or hazardous situations and immediately notify the supervisor of any unsafe condition(s) or one that could be improved.

Maintain a clean and orderly workplace by routinely picking up debris and neatly organizing stock and materials.

Treat company owned tools, equipment and supplies with care and in a professional manner.

Keeps management informed of any and all areas of concern that may impact the operations of the organization.

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

Shipping experience – highly desired!



Demonstrated ability to organize merchandise efficiently.

Ability to understand goods retrieval system.

Good customer orientation and ability to deal with complicated orders.

Able to operate a pallet jack and fork lift.

Proven ability to stand for long hours.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Excellent in understanding of safety precautions and procedures.

Good understanding of log and document maintenance system.

Good understanding of basic computer operations such as email.
